Welcome to the "Big D"
Sorors, Amicae, Youth and Guests:
The Kappa Zeta chapter is diligently working to prepare for the excitement of your arrival to the 81st Southern Regional Executive Board Meeting and Youth Retreat. This year we will convene at the Doubletree by the Galleria in Dallas, TX. We promise that this Regional Executive Board will be a snazzy, jazzy affair.
We are sure that you will enjoy the accommodations of the Doubletree by the Galleria - from their famous, delicious cookies, to their comfortable guestrooms. The staff of the hotel is eagerly waiting the day that the ladies of the royal blue and white will adorn their hotel. The hotel is spacious inside and out with room to relax and plenty of free on-site parking. You will also find many restaurants and great shopping in the surrounding area.
As you arrive on Thursday, the ladies of Kappa Zeta will be on hand to greet you and assist with all of your needs. You will experience fun and fellowship during the Hospitality Hour, the Night of Performing Arts will be uplifting and inspiring with outstanding musical flair, and we will conclude the evening with casino style games and prizes. While the adults are enjoying their evening the youth will have their own activities to enjoy, including a step show and evening mixer.
Please don’t forget your Zeta documents because on Friday we will be led by our renowned Southern Regional Board Chair, Soror Mary B. Wright, and her leadership team, as we conduct the business of Zeta. At the same time, the members of Amicae will conduct business during their own Board meeting and the youth will have a chance to see how much their hard work has paid off during their many competitions.
We also ask that you don’t forget your Z-Hope Service donation to one of our signature programs, Project PEARL. More information will be sent to your chapter as to how you can earn Z-Hope points.
Now that you know what is in store for you, please accept this as our formal invitation to Dallas and the 81st Southern Regional Executive Board Meeting and Youth Retreat.
