Z-Phi-B Phit & Phine Challenge

BACKGROUND: Fitness and health go hand-in-hand. Most Americans fail to get enough exercise to receive any health benefits. As a result, fitness programs are one of the main features of most successful wellness programs. Fitness competitions and fitness challenges are one way to improve the level of fitness within an organization. Part of getting in shape means changing how you live, from what you eat to how you schedule your time, but what many people forget is that changing everything at once can be overwhelming that we end up going back to old behaviors.

MISSION: We decided not to focus just on weight loss, but have a broader fitness program, which encompasses the better whole of the body.

BENEFITS: If you want to make small, daily changes (baby steps) on the road to fitness and health, this challenge is for you. This isn’t a weight loss program, although you may lose weight during the next 4 months. In fact, you will have specific instructions not to weigh yourself throughout this entire process. The reason? We want to focus on the journey, not the destination. So ladies, let’s get on the way to becoming PHIT & PHINE!!

POINT GUIDELINES:
Earning Points:

  • Twice a month, sorors, friends, and youth will receive a Phit & Phine Challenge to be completed within a two week time frame
  • Each challenge will be thoroughly explained
  • A soror, friend or youth member can only accrue points for Phit & Phine Challenge for that particular time frame as indicated
  • A soror, friend, or youth member will accrue points after properly reporting completion of the challenge via the Phit & Phine Challenge database entry
  • Extra Phine Points - Throughout the Phit & Phine Challenge there will be opportunities to earn extra points. These Extra Phine opportunities will be posted to the regional website. These will include but not limited to attending special fitness sessions, incentive days, or otherwise noted.

  • Reporting Points:
  • All participants are required to input their individual data (challenge completion) for the 4 month program in an HONEST manner
  • All participants must submit data by 11:59 PM on the Friday prior to the next Phit & Phine Challenge. Start and end dates will always be specified within the challenge. It will also be posted on the regional website
  • Please note, that all submissions after the deadline will not be counted.
